Post-construction window cleaning
New builds and remodels leave stickers, paint specks, and drywall dust on the glass. We clean it carefully so the finished project looks finished.
What construction leaves on glass
A construction site is hard on windows even when nothing goes wrong: manufacturer labels and sticker adhesive baked on by the sun, paint and texture overspray, silicone smears, drywall and concrete dust worked into tracks and screens, and a general film that a quick wipe only smears around. A standard cleaning isn't designed for any of that. Post-construction cleaning is.
We remove label residue and paint specks with methods appropriate to the glass, clean frames, tracks, and sills where construction dust collects, and finish with a proper streak-free clean inside and out. It takes meaningfully more time per window than routine cleaning, which is why we quote it as its own service.
Who books post-construction cleaning
- Homeowners moving into a new build: the builder's final clean often leaves stickers and film behind.
- Homeowners finishing a remodel: new or repainted windows cleaned before you set the room back up.
- Contractors and builders: glass detailed before handover, walkthrough, or listing photos.
- Commercial projects: tenant finish and new commercial space cleaned before opening day.
A note on scratches and timing
Construction debris on glass is abrasive, and dragging it around is how glass gets scratched. We work carefully and flag any existing damage we find before we start, so there are no surprises. The best time to book is after all trades are done and the site dust has settled. Mention your timeline when you request a quote and we'll schedule accordingly.
Getting a post-construction quote
Tell us about the project: new build or remodel, roughly how many windows, and when the site will be ready. Use the quote form or by calling (720) 790-9490. We'll confirm scope and give you a written price before any work is scheduled.
We handle post-construction cleaning across our whole territory, including fast-growing communities like Thornton and Castle Rock. For ongoing service after move-in, see our residential and commercial window cleaning pages.
Post-construction window cleaning FAQs
When should post-construction window cleaning happen?
After all trades are finished and site dust has settled. Cleaning too early means doing it twice. Tell us your project timeline when you request a quote, and we'll schedule the cleaning for when the site is ready.
Why does post-construction cleaning cost more than regular cleaning?
Removing sticker adhesive, paint specks, and construction dust takes meaningfully more time per window than routine washing, and it has to be done carefully because construction debris is abrasive. We quote it as its own service so the price reflects the actual work involved.
